Discounted bath tickets for students with public transport pass purchased in the BudapestGO app

DISCOUNTED BATH TICKETS   Students with a public transport pass purchased in the BudapestGO app, who have a Budapest address card or are full-time students at a Budapest educational institution, can buy a pass to the historic baths (Gellért, Széchenyi, Rudas and Lukács baths) once a month at a 50% discount, and to the other baths once a week at a 50% discount. If this visit takes place two hours before the baths close, the discount is 80%. The discounted ticket purchase and its use is valid only for the period for which the visitor has a valid public transport pass for the period in question in the BudapestGO application. Discounted tickets can only be purchased online and paid for by credit card. To benefit from the discount, the student ID card must be presented on the spot.

HOW TO GET THE DISCOUNT   The discounted ticket can be purchased on the baths' website: The coupon code for the purchased discounted student pass must be copied from the BudapestGO app, the code can be found by clicking on the pass, in the "Code for Budapest discounts" menu or by clicking on the transaction ID. You must select your spa tickets at https://tickets.spasbudapest.com/. For the selected spa, the type of pass and the day of visit must be selected. Copy the coupon code received in the BudapestGO app. You will need to add your discounted spa ticket to the shopping cart. Pay for the bath ticket(s) you have chosen. In case of an unsuccessful ticket purchase, the code provided during the purchase process will be temporarily blocked for 60 minutes. Who can benefit from the discount?
Students with a Budapest address or studying in an educational institution in Budapest can use the discounts with the following valid student passes purchased in the BudapestGO application: monthly Budapest pass for students in public education, monthly Budapest pass for students in higher education, discounted Pest county pass for students, discounted country pass for students. Students who can use Budapest public transport free of charge (under 14 years old) cannot use this discount for the purchase of a bath entry ticket.

Can a foreign student studying in Budapest benefit from this?
Only if they have a student card issued by an educational institution in Budapest and a valid pass purchased in BudapestGO.

Can I use the discount with a part time or long distance student card?
No, it is only available for full-time students. 

When can I buy a discounted bathing pass?
You can only buy a discounted bathing pass to the baths during the validity period of the student pass purchased in the BudapestGO app. The offer is not valid with a paper pass or a BKK student pass purchased in any other mobile ticket reselling app. This discounted ticket offer is not valid at bath ticket offices and ticket vending machines in spas.

What happens if I forgot my student ID card at home?
Unfortunately, in this case you will not be allowed to enter the bath. You have two options: you can either pay the difference between the full price of the day ticket at the spa's cash desk, or we will refund the price of the entry ticket you bought online. In the case of a refund, you can use the discount within the calendar week.

What happens if I redeemed the discounted bathing pass without a valid reason (not living or studying in Budapest)?
Unfortunately, in this case you will not be allowed to enter. You have two options: either you can pay the difference between the full price of the day ticket at the spa's cash desk, or we will refund the price of the entry ticket you bought online.

What percentage discount do I get if I have a Zsigmondy card?
As the discounts cannot be combined, the discount is still based on the full price adult ticket. For exact prices, please consult the price list of the spas.
