We have a new service in the Gellért Spa: Watsu (Water Therapy)
Watsu or Water Shiatsu is a new form of aquatic therapy.
Carefree Floating
The therapist uses holding and floating to move the receiver in the water. The therapeutic benefits of warm water and the greater freedom of movement it encourages, creates a modality that can effect every level of our being, our body and our mind.
Complete relaxation, Stress Release
Watsu is a profoundly relaxing therapy. Movements are combined with gentle stretching, acupressure points and Shiatsu massage. We use the lightness of the body in water to free the spinal vertebrae, rotate joint articulations and elongate muscles in ways impossible on land.
