Visitors of night swimming, now a tradition at the Rudas Bath, can now use a swimming pool in addition to the steam room, which has been added because of the popularity of the event. A steady temperature of 18-22 °C is sustained in the halotherapy room made with the use of eight tons of salt from Parajd, Transyvlania. The circulation of salty air is ensured by a state-of-the-art air conditioning system, Up to 6-8 people can stay in the salt rooms proven to be effective in the treatment of allergies, asthma and inhalation problems. The optimal length of treatment: 45 minutes. It is especially recommended for cigarette smokers. The special scintillation of the salt crystals covering the floor of the room is caused by the lighting and enables you to relax, which is also facilitated by low, pleasant music. The first phase of the renovation of the Gellért Bath has been concluded, at a cost of HUF 1.5 billion, and the refurbished male thermal bath has already welcomed its first visitors.Even Vilmos Zsolnay would be proud of the painstaking renovation of the spa interior decorated with his famous ceramics, which happens to be apropos of the eightieth birthday, on April 18 of this year, of the founder of the porcelain factory in Pécs.

Opening Hours on Whitmonday | 8th May 2008 |
On the 12th May 2008 (Whitmonday) the swimming-pools and the the joint group steam baths departments will be open according to the weekdays' opening hours.
In the Dagály Open-air Bath and Swimming-pool the weekend prices will be valid.
